Thailand LTR Visa: A Comprehensive Guide
Thailand LTR Visa: An Overview
Effective September 1, 2022, Thailand’s Board of Investment launched the Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa program. The primary goal of this initiative is to attract highly skilled global professionals from various industries, especially those not tied to a physical office, to reside in Thailand. The LTR visa offers eligible individuals a streamlined pathway to a 10-year residency in the country, along with certain tax benefits.
However, it’s important to note that the LTR program has very stringent requirements for applicants.

The Thailand Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa currently offers four distinct pathways for eligible applicants: Wealthy Global Citizens, Wealthy Pensioners, Highly Skilled Professionals, and Work-from-Thailand Professionals.
