Anguilla Digital Nomad Visa:

Since August 2020, Anguilla has introduced a digital nomad visa application pathway for overseas remote workers and students who can take online courses. This non-immigrant visa is an enhanced version of a tourist visa, valid for one year only. After expiration, visa holders cannot renew it; reapplication requires leaving the country.

While the Anguillan government does not specify strict economic criteria, applicants are generally expected to have an annual income of at least 50,000 US dollars.

Application Process:

Anguilla’s Digital Nomad Visa can be applied for entirely online. The process is as follows:

1. Apply for Entry Visa: The Anguilla Digital Nomad Visa allows you to reside locally, but to enter Anguilla, you need to apply for a tourist visa or another entry visa either online or at the British consulate.

2. Online Application: After obtaining the entry visa, applicants can prepare all necessary documents and register an account on the Anguilla e-Visa platform. Upload the required documents and submit the digital nomad visa application. 

Required documents include:

• Applicant’s Identity Documents: Copies of passports (main and dependents) with at least six months’ validity; passport-sized photos; proof of relationship (birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.) for main and dependent applicants.

• Occupational Proof: If you’re a student, provide proof of your study status. If you’re a remote worker, describe your remote work situation and provide relevant income proof.

• Certificate of No Criminal Record: All adult main and dependent applicants must provide a certificate of no criminal record issued by local law enforcement within the last six months.

• Round-trip Ticket to Anguilla: Provide a return ticket to demonstrate that you don’t intend to stay in Anguilla permanently.

• Local Address in Anguilla: Provide a commonly used local address (such as a hotel).

• Health Insurance Proof: All main and dependent applicants must purchase valid health insurance for Anguilla, including coverage for COVID-19.
